226ERS UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES SEA OTTER EUROPE GIRONA
route
The new route for the 2026 226ERS UCI Gravel World Series Sea Otter Europe Girona covers a distance of 109 km with 940 m of elevation gain.
The Càrniques de Juià venue will be the starting point, and riders will face a long climb right from the start: 5.2 km with an average gradient of 6.2%. This climb will separate the favourites and lead into the technical descent of Coll de Llumeneres (km 21).
The race will proceed through forests and green countryside. The fast sections at km 41 will increase the pace of the peloton. The Mas Llunes climb (km 83) could decide the race before reaching the final technical sections of the day.
The route will feature a short but tough climb (KM100) that could prove decisive, before finishing as part of the Shimano Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona by Garmin cycling festival.
